Merry Christmas to One and all! Special shout outs to family, relatives and friends.
Woot Snow in Northern continent and we get Rain. Nice nice weather to snuggle up and zzzzz. hee. Pretty quiet affair. Simple gathering with my family and relatives. Had a really eventful week. Lets see.... right met with an accident. The poor poor car. sigh. Cant wait to get you back!

I must say its a pretty quiet holiday for me. Done lots of reading. Good job to the writers for entertaining me through these days. Cant wait for the next few installments. Darn need to get more shelf space.

Let's see... Night in the Museum. Nice show. Light Hearted. Borat is opening on Thursday. Gotta go catch this one. Butties lets go watch!

Argh speaking of thursday... Results. Darn. NTU ah NTU.. why u release result so late??? The waiting KILLS followed by the shock and the releif and the rest that goes blah blah blah.

Cant wait for Cafe Del Mar Singapore to open. yup yup. Chill out lounges.. hmm maybe I should had to BarFly by Buddha Bar at the Canery... sounds goot.

Hope the weather lightens up. Special shouts to John and Pris in Philipines. Hope everything is okay considering CNA says theres a Tsunami heading towards. Do take care. Drivers on the road do watch out. Roads are wet. Drive safely. Party goers.. Dont drive and drive. U may spill your drink... not goot not goot.

New year's coming in a few days time... Should i go count down? hmmm.... something to consider. Oh well.

2nd week of the holz are almost gone. Dday cometh... yucks. Oh well cant be helped i suppose. hee. Lets see...kinda asked some of my friends this question just for the fun of it. here goes.. "

Me:"How many pple you have on your msn?"
A:"Erm... about 200 i guess?"
Me:"wow... thats a lot."
A:"okay lah"
Me:"Okay? then how many pple do u actually converse with?"
A:"eh..... dunno lei"
Me:"i would say not more than 10.."
A:"how you know?"
Me:"In the first place.. dont tell me you have all 200 pple logging on at once. Dont tell me that u have some many topics to talk about to 200 pple. Dont tell me that all 200 pple still rememeber you. And i believe that there are some once in a blue moon contacts. and there are some who contact you, just because they need your help and after that dunno die where and when need help again, they appear from the abyss..."
A:"eh.... oookkaayy... you got me there."

Just some random conversation i had with a friend. Just got me wondering.. I admit too.. i have quite a fair bit of contacts and i admit... i got at least 30% of the pple there i dun even contact now. why? Just somehow dont know contact for wad... conversations now hardly last... Its the usual how are u and then silence. And yes i have does so called "friends" who "Hi hi to you when the need help and bye bye go and die when they dont need you.."

Oh well guess human beings are funny creatures. Schooling complain zzzz, exams complain zzzzz, work also zzzz holiday also zzzzz. haha. Well least these thoughts are out from my mind. Phew.... Oh well take it with a pinch of salt, lots of salt, no salt or just hit me.

Oh yah... CafeDelMar singapore is due to open in Sentosa Siloso beach. So any chill out fans there wanna hit that place, do check out their webbie at Cafedelmarsg.com for more details. Cant wait for them top finally open. Sunset at Siloso beach.

Hmm Christmas is round the corner.... so well. Merry Christmas i suppose then. Time to go collect some more dust then.

Opps... havent been updating my bloggie ever since the last post. haha. Have been a little lazy and kinda busy with sch right now. Oh well. Nothing much has came up or anything interesting i must say. hmm.. getting lazier i guess? Need to clear up some stuff in my blog here and there. its taking a while to load up. Photo trips has more or less been canceled due to mishaps with my cameras. Sad sad. Hope to get a replacement in the near future.
Hmmmm... the weekend is round the corner. Lets see whats there to do. Man i miss the states... haa. oh well.

WooT!!! SHOPPING! SHOPPING! Who need GSS when u have factory stores! I tell, the shopping was maddness! Nike, GAP, Polo, Guess, CK, Addidas, over 60 stores! This is what i called shopping! The whole bunch of us were like going crazy over the goods there! Spent abt half a day there. Wanted to spend a longer time, but we kinda left the hostel late. so.. hahaha. How many things we bought? just say we went with 2 small luggages... we returned with 2 huge Samsonite Suitcases and a nike Duffel bag. so wheee! Man was it retail therapy or what. We had pizza for dinner. And the pizza was huge! 18inches. yum yum. Off to another factory outlet soon and wheeee! Gosh i hope i have enough luggage space. LOL

Last day at San Diego. 5 days came to an end. We made our last stop to San Diedo Old town. A historical site. Rustic old town look. Boon headed of to the Whaley Ghost house. One of the official ghost house in US. We headed to a mexican resturant for lunch. Coyote Cafe. The food served there was heavenly. Portions were huge and the lime margarita was SHIOK. We walked ard the old town for a couple of hours before we headed to the greyhound bus terminal and made our way back to LA. hee. So far so good for the San Diego trip. LOL and then its off to school.

WooT WooT!!! Finally! Arrvied in LA! WoW! Cant believe it. I'm finaly in LA! 18Hrs of flight. Cram! Upon touch down, we headed to our apartment at Gayley Avenue. UCLA campus is just right infront of our apartment! CooLe. We reached the apartment and then there were 5. Vince, Rachel, Anna, Boon and me. Didnt have much rest that night. Had to pack for out trip to San Diego.

The next day, sandwiches were packed and we rushed off to San Diego.Boy was the bus ride long! Backside pain man. Took the Greyhound bus service and headed off to San Diego. We arrived there in good time. Checked into our rooms at Hosteling International. We met up with an old friend Alex, who happened to be touring that area. We headed off to SeaPort to soak in the sights. We had our first meal in San Diego at the pizza store by the sea itself. Boy was the pizza heavenly! We then went to the stores in the area to walk about. Headed into a hat store, and all hell broke loose. We started trying on many different hats and laughed out heads off. Its was really such a sight. There i got my first duckie! WooT. Quackies its called. Its the TY easter edition duck! lol. Well since Alex was with us, we decided to cook in the hostel. Headed to Ralphs and bought grocceries for the meal. Man the chicken there are really huge. Back at the hostel kitchen, Rachel started to prepare the chicken for the curry while i marinated the chicken. Hee.. thank God everything turned out nicely. Pancakes was for breakfast in the morning. On seeing that we had a kitchen in our room, i went and stunned the frying pan. LOL. First day went pass quite eventfully. Oh only sad thing was that i broke my camera lens. Oh well.. haha

The area we stayed was really happening. Pubs in the area were really nosiy. Couldnt get much rest. Kinda got up to a surprised on seeing alex and boon coming back to the room with a huge bag of pancake mix. oh boy.. pancakes for the rest of the time in USA. hehe. Today we decided to head down to San Diego ZOo. Wow.. wonder when was the last time i visited the zoo. Alex couldnt join us as he had some problems with his air ticket and hence had to cut short his trip. We headed off to get the daytrip passes. There we chanced upon a farmers market. The wares sold there were really a sight to behold. The rich vibrant colours were astounding. Flowers were sooo pretty and colorful. Friuts and vegetables too. Soo fresh. We got a bunch of strawberries and had a quick bite at Wendys before we headed off to the zoo. The zoo is huge. Many stuff to see. Had strawberries along the way in the zoo. We ate the berries till we got quite sick of them. LOL. Vince ate till he nearly exploded. For dinner, we set of to Little Italy. We had a wonderfull meal at a Italian restaurant, Boun Appetito. Food was great, Company was great, amibence was great and the service was great. Seems like we have a lot more to learn back home. Bad part abt today? My camera charger didnt work as the adapter couldnt convert the 110v to step it up. oh well.

Mexico here we come! We headed off to Tijuana, Mexico. Let the power of bargaining begin! Boy oh boy. Should see Boon and Rachel "tock" the sellers! hahaha. Bought quite a number of stuff! Heavy! Some of the sellers there were really friendly. haha. We drove really hard bargain. The end of the trip was the real piss off part. Kinda got conned by a restautant owner to eating his expensive burritos. Argh. And he still insisted of us tipping him. We got so fed up we just paid and left. Bleah. Oh we bought tequilla! hehe. wheeee!

Our grp was actually featured on Channel CNA and Channel 8! WOoT WoOt!. Haa! Ah time table planning again. Man, the timing really sux. and exam timmings are really off. Dont really know what the school's doing. Time to relax at chill out. GSS has already started. heheh *evil grinz*.

PhotoTrip: Tree Top Trail!

Alrightie! More pic! Well.. some of the nicer ones. LOL. Kinda picture intensive. So please be patient while the pics load. Cheers. And just realised my spelling sucks...
Anyway, here we go!

Meeting time was at 9am at Venus drive. Reached there, had breakfast. Vince and Rachie bought breakfast for the whole gang. And as usual.. JianMing was late. Wheee. Time to pack our gear. Vince was our water boy for the day as he carried all our water supply. LOL. Jm and I carried our camera gear and Rachie well... carried herself. HEhehehe. Oh well, we hence set of into the undergrowth. The shade was inviting.

Guess i am kinda engrossed with lalangs. See them swaying in the wind. Such a relaxing mood. Took this shot while we were plodding to the treetop trail.

We trekked for abt 45mins before we reached the bridge. Wow. The view was so nice! Very breezy. Took many pics while on the bridge. And here are some of them.

We headed of to Evins Evins for lunch. I guess everyone was hungry and tired. Lunch was quickly wolved down and we parked ourselves to enjoy the airconditioning in the cafe. LOL. Oh well. Phototrip A success!.

PhotoTrip: Botanic Gardens

And then we are off. Phototrip time! WooT WooT! Monday was a little let down. Change of locations. The Ubin trip was called off.
Oh well, enjoyed myself nontheless. Packed my camera gear and i was off to the Botanic Garderns. Had an overcast sky. Was praying that it wouldnt rain. Thank you God. The weather held out. As i got there, wow... Apart from the locals working there, i think i'm the only local there! Hee.
Oh well, time to blend in. Whipped out my camera and time to act touristy.
And time to get tigger happy. Started taking all sort of things. Flowers, plants, ants, bees. Whatever i could get into my viewfinder, it was captured. No hot chicks there that day though. LOL. Was a nice day to stroll about the gardens. Cool breeze, cloudy weather. Flowers are in bloom.
Managed to put full use of some of my lenses. Ah the 400mm Prime lens was finally back into service.
Macro tubes extensions was a good investment.
Oggies startd out from the visitor center and head of towards the Ginger garden.
Venture ard there, saw many pretty flowers there. Ahh... at one with nature.
Next stop, headed to the Bandstand. Along the way capture a few shots of sculptures.
And other interesting plants here and there. I think i should up load the pics.
Clearer explanation. But photobucket is taking forever!!! hehe.
Verbal description is a litte hard to explain and describe the beauty aroud me.
And i am really bad at expressing myself. Oh boy.

Wow... Time sure flies.. In a blink of an eye, someone's 23 already.
Happy Birthday Alex.
Fun filled day today. Well... something most people would least expect it. hehe. But i guess its quite an experience. So here we go, location was at Raffles place Control station. As usual, i had to be late... LOL. Well, Alex was kind enough to give me a lift up from my place and we picked weimin on the way as well. By the time we got there, Jian xiong was already waiting there for us. And then we are off to clifford pier. Woah, haven been there for a real long time. The last time i went there was when i was a kid with my auntie.
So.. we waited for the boat to arrive. The Cheng Ho 2 (well... thats wad they named the boat. so... i'll let it be) pulled up to the berth. My initial response was... Gosh.. This heap is floating?? WOw.. Read in the papers that it sank or something around that line. So thoughts were a little skeptical. Anyhow.. i swear we were the only singaporeans there... The rest were like tourist. So in order to blend it.. i whipped out my trusty camera and there.... Singaporea Tourist. LOL. started taking pics here and there. they city skyline and stuff. took a while for me to get use to rocking of the boat. We were half way through the journey and bam... Water from the Heavens came pouring down. We went to the lower deck to get some food to eat. Since it was raining, phototaking was out of the question. To kill time, Weimin and Jian xiong decided to play magic cards. Wow... Maybe we took a boat ride to play cards. LOL.
We reached kusu island in abt 40mins time. Couldnt do much either cos it was still raining. decide to head to the temple to have a look see. So we braved the down pour and ran to the temple. Made a wish at a wishing well, and then we are back on board the boat. As its was still raining, couldnt do much. Hence the magic session continued. Another 40mins, and we are soon back at clifford pier. Time for dinner.
Walked to the esplanade, took a few more pics, headed to Marina Sq foe dinner.
Had dinner at Changing Appetites. The food there is quite nice i must say. Good thing we went there early, as the queue started forming almost immediately after we were seated. Man i'm stuffed. Walked ard marina sq a bit more. The nite city skyline was pretty nice. Off to find a nice location to take a pic. No tripod. argh. So use the ledge to surport my camera and take a pic. Hopefully it will turn nice.

After trugging around, we went of to eat again. LOL. Had a chocolate Foundue there. Yumm. Need to get some exercise. LOL. Soon, it was time to go home. Quite a fun day i had today. A well deserve break from my studies. hee. Woah, used up 2 rolls of film. what fun what fun.
Oggies gonna stare at the telly now.

I think i should be studying instead of blogging. Kinda got bored of staring at the thermo notes. Taking break. Eating cookies given by Rachie. Yuummm. GOsh i'm getting fat. Not good. (guess why they call me Goldfish now.. LOLs. No more little_fish)
Rather quiet nite today. I see stars in the sky today! wooT. Another long long day again. Bummer... I need a break.. Maybe i'll go down to east coast or sentosa and stroll along the beach on of these evenings... Hope there will be a lovely sunset to see. Feeling the cool breeze brushing through your hand, the sand tickling yer feet. Going further down, cool waves sloshing ard yer ankles. And yes, gonna capture it on my camera! Oh please dont rain? PLease? Need to find some space... To R&R. I need sleep... proper sleep. Why? I'm having short naps in the nite instead.... LOLs.

Ah... Love is in the air, friends are everywhere! So many lovey dovey couples littering the school compound today. So envy rite? Singles Unite! LOL.. Time of giving and sharing. Shared my friendship amongst my friends. haha. Dont expect any thing much in return, but all i ask is to treasure the friendship.

Cookies and Cakes given by Rachie! Haven gotten to taste them because FROGGIE brought them home! LOL. Got another duckie to add to my collection. A shout to thanks to Yuan Man. THanks for the advice too. Aye Vince thanks for breakfast! hehehehe. A shout out to Pei fang, great to see u around take care yah? To Rebecca! Thanks for the tutorial help. hehe. Jian ming ah... thanks for the rides to school? lol. To his wife Irene, thanks for the brownies or cakes u baked today and the other days!
Lessons was boring as usual. Hey whats new man. Lugged ard my camera in school acting stupid. Getting stares. I know its a film camera.... like Duh?? Wow many many balloons... cant find my way.

Goot news kept rolling in today. Dunno whats going on. Got a reply for my camera body, and its ready for collection. Wow. Cant wait to get it back. Ruthie has finally got a place to stay. WooT. Should i forgoe the attachment in the states (thats if i get it first) or of to Melbourne with John and Priss to visit our dear fren? (Someone;s getting a pink convert ah? My anutie came over and stayed with us. Hmmm she popped a qns with regards of buying a DSLR... wow. Dad offered to help her get a good quotation on it. "Valentine Day eve today u know?" Says I. Many many hearts, balloons, bear bear everywhere!. Wow. Soooo PinK!.
Today didnt felt like studying. Needed abreak. Wow of places to have a break, headed back to school. Returned library books. Whipped out my camera and started taking shot aimlessly till John called.
Went to met him for lunch. His girlfriend Pris was there going for lessons. Wow, she gave me a Valentine day gift. I guessed its the first in my life i have gotten something like that. thank you thank you.
And then off for lunch with John. Ordered food, took pics of the food. Ruth u are sooo gonna miss some stuff i have taken. "Evil grinz". Surpirsingly orchard was pretty empty today. Walked ard, me taking pics at things i deem interesting. Some of which are kinda stupid. but hey, wheres the fun if u take serious stuff? LOL. again, i get the stares from pple. Hey look local tourist! Wow FILM camera!!! Ancient! ermm okay i get the point...
So bummed ard orchard for a couple of hours. Saw many lovey dovey couples walking ard, flowers, gifts, etc etc.
After which was time to head home. Dropped john home, thanks for the company bro. Didnt felt like going home, Jaded feeling came about. In the end, went home, took a quick nap. Then i'm out of the house again. Met up with a fellow photographer. Got more new lens. Gosh, i'm broke...
Went to a florist as i usually do on the eves of V Day. Got a lovely bouquet of flowers. Tulips! Ah.. the smell nice. Cost me a bomb. LOL. Mum! your Son is broke! heee... While waiting for the florist to pack up the flowers, i got busy again. Again, camera time! Didnt know there was so many diff kinds of flowers in this time round. Pretty flower. And hence my shutter was snapping away. Hope the lady boss there didnt mind. Oh well, Time to go.

Ah... finally can log in. Sheesh having major login problems theses few days. Time sure flies i guess. Ruthie's in Melbourne now. Didnt know there was such a great time diff. Saturday gonna go make some noise at the camera shop. "Where is my freaking lens??!?@!? Its freaking 2mths already!!!!" FUMES*.

Hi all!
Firstly Happy Chinese New year to one and all. Appolgies. HAven been hardworking in updating my blog. Been really busy. Doing up a new template and hopefully a new webhost where i can finally have a dedicated web domain. Still in the midst of planning. Hopping to get a photo blog up and running as well in the new domain. Still in the talks. Hopefully all goes well.

Ah... the weekend is here again. Finally a reprieve from school. Like wow....LOL. Hmmm.. weekends seems to be like another school day. Except theres no need to head back to school. Another time to catch up on sleep, tutorials and lecture notes. Gosh.. getting really lost in my notes. DOnt know what is it talknig abt. Argh. need to do something abt that.

Hmmm. supposed to go out today. End up coming home and then coma for abt 2hrs. Feels good. Well tomrrow, i think should be today. Off to the city to catch up with some friends. Finally social life. Hmmmm.... another boring day. Seems like school's getting very dry. Practically no mood in getting down to study. Heee. Cant wait for the weekend to arrive. Woot. Gonna get my new lens and head down to Chinatown to soak up the sights and sounds. Gonna be another hole in my pocket. ah... need to get some new clothes for Chinese new year. Finally.. Havent been writing much after since i went on a Holiday to China and some how i couldnt log in. Woot. Great place. Loved the scenery there. It was a sight to behold. Had a trigger happy time shooting away. Again... still very lousy at my camera skills.. some shoots didnt turn out as what i have expected. Sigh... wasted quite a fair bit of film. Good side to it is, hey least the things are captured are any better here! LoL.! 8days in china, 8 days of film. Ouch on my pocket.. the developing cost!! argh! Went on a shopping spree as well. Got some local products, gifts etc etc... Christmas shopping was hence done. A must to go back and visit. Worth the trip. Real eye opener. Got my results during the trip. Quite a sucky feeling as the school as usual.. didnt release the official date for the release of the exams results. A big thanks to bros Alex and Vince for helping me out checking my results and helping with the registration. 8 days hence gone in a flash. Wished could stay longer there! Hee...

And hence and i am back in singapore for Xmas and the nye. Went to meet a few friends upon my return. Caught Wallace and Gromit. Cute show. LOL. went to check on my lens at the repair shop.. still not ready. Damn... So long! argh
Xmas was a quiet afair. Stayed home and stared at the telly. What fun! LOL. Well didnt like the squeeze down town, hence parked at home. Got a couple of cool gifts from my good friends. Got an Air purifier for the car from Pris, a plaque with God's gentle reminder from John, a Nike bag from Alex and sis got me a cocacola Bean bag chair. LOL. Xmas came and went with a snap... Not before long its the New year...

Hey New year! HAd a small gathering at my place. Cooked popiah. Man.. hard work. slog for 3 days for all the ingredients. All the chopping, preparation. Lots and lots of veggies. Called a few friends over for a small gathering. Then after which went out for dinner with John and Pris for dinner, caught a movie "The Family Stone". Very touching movie i must say. And after which headed to Bayside for the count down. Fire works were great! Man forgot to bring my trusty camera! About 15mins long worth of fireworks. CooLe COoooLeeee.... And hence, last day of the hols came about... Again, had a gathering at Ruths place... hmmm the last we met? Seriously dunno... Ha.. tight school schedule on my part, busy work schedule on her part. LOL. Its a wired conspiracy i tell you... played monopoly. or rather the others played while i stared abt. Didnt know how to play. heee. Ah... dinner time. Cooked up a storm. hee. shall i say what happen? ahh... guess not. if not will sure get killed by Ruthie! Not before long its was time to say bye bye.

School started. Had a screwed up time table and had to do some major changes. Man.. the school network suxs... Very very screwed. Oh well, more or less got my timetable settled. Tutorials as usual starts to pile up.. lecturer that start talking to themselves and some with deep accent thats a little hard to catch what they are trying to say. LoL. More confusing terms again. sigh... Headache headache.

Seem that bad luck comes all at one short. Time table got screwed, Dry cabinet decide to die on me... and my LENS is still not ready!!! Spending spree soon started. Went to get a new dry cabinet, got a fish eye len(finally), found more camera equipment parts! lol Broke broke. Really have to go chinatown to get the festive sights on film. Just pray the weather holds up. Been raining for the past 4 days. Didnt dare to risk my camera equip. Hopefully the weather hold tomorrow and i can head down to get some shots. Hee..

Speaking of which... CNY ard the corner... hee.. More funding!! LOL. Hmmmm getting a bit long on my bloggie.

Another 3 more lens added to my already exploding dry cabinet. (U know what i want for Xmas liao rite? hehe Jokes Jokes).

To any fantasy fans reading this site, Terry Brooks 3rd installment of High Druid of Shannara has hit the stores. (think its been in the store for quite a while). Great book. A must have for Terry Brooks and Shannara fans out there.
Ian Irvine fans, 2 epsiodes of The View from the Mirror and The Well of Echos series are finally completed. Now await the release of the 3 epsiode , The Song of the Tears.

Another day has pass... Has been raining all day long. Nice and cold. Feels GooD! Just came back from orchard. Millions of people everywhere. Traffic was crap. Buildings are all dressed up for the season. Streets are brightly lit. Wasted. Didn't bring my trusty camera along. Tis was a pretty sight i must say. Photos from my photo trip are out. Will post them up in a while's time. Some pictures turned out pretty nicely. Well others not as what i have expected. Oh well give and take i suppose.

Meet LongLegs! This duckie got his name because he has legs which are as long as his body. hee. Wanted to call him Bigfeet initially. But decided to stick with LongLegs in the end. This duckie was bought by my sister. This duckie is pretty unique. He's quite out of proportion which makes him cute. He has small eyes, a big beak, small wings, longs legs and big web feet. haha. Oh yah. And a big butt as well. This Duckie's from Downunder! Gd'day Mate!

This is my very first duckie! This little fella here got me into a craze of collecting ducks. Didn't know what to call it, so my mum decided to call it "Lor Ah"In english its called stewed duck. :P. Its a hokkien name.I know his name sounds funny, but kinda gotten used calling him that. Cos initially i called him "Chocobo", mum didnt like that name.
